Mobile Web vs. Mobile Applications

+Mobile on 6 December, 2008

It’s not a thoroughbred case study, but:

…users are able to browse useful, noteworthy, and most importantly, user-rated applications. The fact is there’s no equivalent for well-designed mobile web sites, no matter how Safari-optimized they are.

Good point. Good article.

...about love and the acid test

This has got to be one of the greatest posthumous albums ever released. Great music from a great man and a revolutionary thinker.

Perfect for a summer afternoon sipping on dry & dry.

Automatic out of office reply

It’s been slow around here the last seven or so weeks - I’ve been happily disconnected from the digital world while touring through Northern South-East Asia and India, suckers.

While I was dodging bullets in Mumbai, Rogerwilco’s web host threw in the towel. We’re both back now, so expect some content and site improvements to follow.

I could do a retrospective summary of interesting things that happened in my absence, but instead, let the record show that actually, nothing happened.
